Ghana Premier League - Statistical Review Of Week 12


The 12th Week of Ghana Premier League was full of shocks and surprises aplenty as AshGold's lead at the top seems to be wearing off steadily whilst Isaac Oduro breached Inter Allies's immaculate home record but was not enough to end their unbeaten home run. Meanwhile Ahmed Toure continued his goalscoring streak as well as Richard Arhin keeping things intact for Aduana Stars. In other news Daniel Egyin was at the receiving end of perhaps the weirdest record this season.

A lot happened in Week  11 games of the Ghana Premier League with defending champions, Asante Kotoko brushing aside Bechem United under new coach, David Duncan.  Inter Allies continued  their invincibility at home after defeating B.A United, meanwhile Tijani Joshua rescued league leaders AshGold at the death in Week 9 fixtures of the ongoing Ghana Premier League. Crunching The Stats - For Departed Kotoko Coach, Didi Dramani

Record Ghana Premier League champions, Asante Kotoko have parted ways with headcoach, Mas-ud Didi Dramani following an unimpressive start to this season's campaign.

The level-headed coach has accumulated just 8 points out of possible 21 and certainly the Porcupines are unhappy with their club form, given the plethora of stars at their disposal.

The 23-time, record league champions trail league leaders AshGold 10 points with 23 games to spare.

"The Board of Directors of Kumasi Asante Kotoko have asked Head Coach, Mas-ud Didi Dramani to proceed on leave" reads an official statement of the club.

Didi Dramani has won the league on two consecutive occassions during his tenure as headcoach. He has spent a little over two seasons with the Porcupines, winning three trophies (including last year's FA Cup; recording a historic double).
